15 month old Mackenzie and I had the opportunity to view the Baby Juno Rhythm Adventures DVD. This series won every Parenting Media award in 2006! Wow. I know nothing about music but can attest my daughter loved it on her first viewing. Juno's music is live and performed by orchestral musicians - much of it was also composed by the founder of Baby Juno. Also the character's actively talk to the children to elicit participation. And on a first go - it totally worked for Mackenzie as she was clapping and stepping as Juno requested! My words just will not do it justice. If you haven't seen Juno - please go see it -like yesterday! This movie is phenomenal, quirky, and touching. I liked it so much that I just orderd the catchy soundtrack to give me a Juno fix. It's been a top downloaded album off iTunes and I understand why - and so does my 2 year old! I'll be rooting for Ellen Page to win best actress and if you see this movie, I bet you will be too. Totally Classy Mommy approved!
