Pingu is about a playful penguin living in the chilly artic who seems to constantly wind up in tricky and comical situations. This DVD is compiled of a series of individual 5 minute tales - perfect for our household rules of limiting TV time! I had a chance to review this DVD earlier this month....my 2 year old was a huge fan. From an adult perspective this show is a bit bizarre as Pingu and his fellow penguin friends & family do not speak english - but I'll tell you he is totally appealing to the kids! Mackenzie kept asking to see it again and again and I think part of the appeal to her was that Pingu did NOT speak English and instead she was following his gestures and actions. The 5 minute vignettes totally captured her attention. Releasing today for only $10 on Amazon! Enjoy!
