Powder Art Peel & Paint : $10

My 3 year old is a little crafty thing so we're always looking for new Art projects to try out as we aim to keep her creativity flying. Crescent just sent us their Powder Art kit to test out and we give it a rave review. The age is 5+ but Kenzie, 3 yrs, is artistic and totally completed her pictures alone with my set up & prep. I organized and poured her "waterless powder" and told her which color powder corresponded to each number on the picture. Basically it is like a paint by number kit, except you peel off the numbers and literally use a paintbrush and powder to complete your picture. The powder simply sticks to the picture. Each kit comes with 4 pictures for $9.99. The powder is totally washable and non-toxic. Looking at the powder, I was initially concerned it would make a mess - but seriously when we had minor spills it seemed to literally dissipate into thin air and wiped easily off our hands. So I'd call it mess free and lots of fun. Kenzie had so much pride in her "powder paint" masterpieces as she called them. Classy Mommy Approved.
