Camp Baby Wrap Up!

While they were living it up at Chuck E Cheese, I was having tons of fun too. GM provided transport to the delicious Frog & the Peach restaurant in some of their awesome Hybrid vehicles. We spent part of the evenng testing out the latest Nintendo Wii product soon to hit stores on May 19th. I am not a typically a video game person, but I found Nintendo Wii Fit to be amazing. You basically control your on-screen action with your movement on this cool balance board. Wii Fit has some 40 games to play (balance games, yoga, aerobic games like hula hooping and running, and strentch training too) Honestly, as a Mom of 2 little ones who can rarely get out on a Saturday night - I think this would be soooo much fun for my husband and I - not to mention it seems like it would be so much fun to play at a party with everyone taking turns between appetizers and cocktails! We also came home with a Nintendo DS which my 2 year old is now obsessing over as she says it is "really good for helping her learn her ABC's" in reference tot he Brain Age Word Scramble game. Very funny.

Our dinner was relaxing after a information packed day. Highlights included: learning how to get our babes to sleep from Dr. Jodi Mindell, sleep expert and author; talking about what Moms want to know about J&J's products (parabens was a hot topic), a talk from the famous Dr. Germ, and learning about some of the latest Mommy trends from Baby Center's Tina Sharkey. These trends included GREEN GREEN GREEN & Pregnant Belly Tattoos!

I also had the chance to meet so many amazing blogging Mommies. Just a few more notables whom I met by chance dining encounters near the end of my trip included: Melinda Roberts, from Wonderbelly.com, Leslie Morgan Steiner, author of the Mommy Wars, and Devra Renner & Aviva Pflock co-authors of Mommy Guilt.

Thanks again to J&J for sponsoring this exciting networking event. Hopefully, we will continue the relationship as it seems this back to basics 2 way conversation and sharing of ideas will best benefit both the company & the customers.

I just had to say that husband and I just got a Wii. Since we don't get out much the Wii is now our "date night". Our daughter's first birthday party was yesterday and we brought it with us so that the adults would have something to play. It was a hit. Sounds like Camp Baby was a lot of fun! :)

It sounds like it was a fabulous week. Thanks for allowing us to "be part of it" through reading your blog. I'm so proud of J & J for acknowledging the power of the blogosphere and the many intelligent, influential women in it. :)

It was great meeting you at Camp Baby! It was a blast. My boys already have Nintendo DS, and can't believe I now have MY OWN, too. What fun.

Your little ones are so cute!
