Marriott Giveaway: $100 gift cards for 5 winners

CONTEST CLOSED. Here's a prize giveaway for Classy Mommy readers sponsored by Marriott - with all the particulars below in their own words:

At Marriott, we’re always looking for ways to serve our guests better. That’s why the new Marriott.com was developed through a two-way dialogue between Marriott and thousands of our customers. The results? Search front and center. Improved navigation. A more modern and elegant look and feel. And, of course, enhanced functionality overall. It just goes to show that only good things can happen when a huge organization like ours takes the time to listen to our individual guests to find out how to better serve them. They helped us create something better. It’s also the reason why we’re calling our new campaign, “You asked. We delivered.”

To celebrate the re-design and get the word out, they are running a promotion that gives Classy Mommy visitors a chance to win a $100 Marriott TravelCard. Entering is easy, just watch the video below and share your thoughts with Marriott in the comment section below. On Tuesday, November 23rd, Marriott will select five lucky winners at random from these comments. Please include your contact information in your comment or they can not contact you if you win.

Sweepstakes ends next Monday, 11:59:59 P.M. ET. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited. Open only to legal residents of 50 US (incl. D.C., excluding Puerto Rico). See
Sweepstakes Rules & Regulations for details. CONTEST CLOSED!

To learn more about the new design and to enter for a chance to win one of three $250 Marriott TravelCards and the Grand Prize of a 7-night vacation (plus $1,500 for travel expenses) visit MarriottDelivers.com.

Disclosure: Marriott is paying for these blog reader awards and selecting the winners via an outside agency.

I thought the video would be better suited for a website like ancestry.com. That being said, I explored the new marriott.com and found it very informative and easy to navigate... so much so that I bookmarked it.

WOW! Marriott this is very wierd to say the least. I don't see the connection at all. While I know Marriott to be a very nice & elegant place to stay-this commercial would make me question that. It kind of looks like something from a hotel you see in a horror film. The room looks so dark and their is nothing flattering about it. This is nothing like the Marriott I stayed at several years ago and I hope it is not like any I will ever stay at.

WOW! Not what I expected from Marriott. The room looks so dark & like something from a horror movie. Nothing like the Marriott that I stayed in several years ago and I hope nothing like any I will stay in. Marriott has always had an elegance and I think that is what the commercial wanted to aim for but missed it. This commercial would make me second guess wanting to stay at Marriott- I do not see any connection to customer service or anything that would entice someone to visit. Just my opinion...

I am really stuck in the middle on this one. The first time I watched it my main reaction was dislike. But at the same time, because of its strangeness, I watched it again.

Although it isn't what I would pick if I were in charge (I always go the safe route), it just might work if they run it several times. Who can help but watch the strange lady at the beginning to see what happens next???
