Tackle the Newborn Haze with “Baby Daze”

As Mackenzie turns 1 this weekend, I can’t help but recollect the struggle of sleep deprivation and subsequent brain fog of the early days with a newborn. I wish I knew about this phenomenal organizational book, Baby Daze, after the birth of my daughter. Baby Daze is designed to help parents record, track, and chart feeding, diapering, pumping, sleeping, and more for their newborn during those initial exhausting and chaotic days.

Mackenzie, born 1 month early, struggled with her feeding and slight jaundice which left her hooked up to a blue light machine and plugged into a wall 24 hours a day for our first 3 days at home. Needless to say I felt overwhelmed and I remember jotting down all kinds of disorganized notes about how often she fed and slept on random pieces of paper and then trying to relay that info to the doctor. If I had Baby Daze, tracking her info into a feeding chart or sleep chart would have been totally seamless and completely organized. This book was designed by an organizational expert and mother of two. It is thoughtful and enables parents to track feeding for either nursing or bottle fed infants and Baby Daze even has alternately shaded sections that easily work for twins.

Give Baby Daze as a thoughtful baby shower gift or cure your newborn haze with Baby Daze. Save $2 when you buy Baby Daze with coupon code classymom06. (A maximum of 3 books may be purchased with this discount)

Diaper Bag to Go by BabyDish

Check out this find with a worthy cause to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Remember those pre baby days when you could leave home in a flash without worrying what emergency baby scenario you might need to handle? Now that I’m a Mom, I’ve adopted the Boy Scouts motto of “Be Prepared” since I never know what to expect with Mackenzie when we are out on the town.

Baby Dish had the genius idea to create a bag with all your baby essentials packed and ready to go. Diapers, wipes, rattle, pacifier, bib, and so on! Leave it in the car or drop it off with the kids at Grandma’s house. This bag is a perfect baby shower gift for Moms. The Hally bag is a limited edition Baby Be Ready Diaper Bag and proceeds will benefit the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Stacie, mom and Baby Dish founder, designed this bag in memory of her best friend, Hally, who lost her battle with breast cancer earlier this year.
